Primary Hepatic Lymphoma After Lung Transplantation: A Report of 2 Cases

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common subtype of non–Hodgkin in posttransplant setting. Treatment based on chemotherapy; surgery still debated and should be performed very select cases. We observed 2 patients out 300 who underwent lung transplantation Nouvel Hopital Civil between 2013 2019 with primary hepatic lymphoma. Chemotherapy a rituximab-cyclophosphamide, hydroxydaunorubicin, vincristine, prednisone protocol was all patients. Mycophenolate mofetil interrupted before treatment, everolimus introduced after chemotherapy by associating tacrolimus withdrawal. One patient showed complete remission; 7 years, no recurrence has been noticed. The second undergoing signs disease progression. DLBCL risk higher solid organ transplant recipients than general population. Primary diagnosis often difficult histologic findings initial clinical radiological suspicion or secondary liver neoplasia.
